My Results Using p90x

All You Need to Know About Electrolysis

Electrolysis is a method of permanently removing hair from the human body.  The process can require several treatments to achieve the desired results.  Unfortunately, there are some common myths about the process that continue to be spread.  In addition to addressing these untruths, this article will also include some facts about the process that can be helpful for persons considering permanent removal.

Myth #1:  Electrolysis is PainfulIn truth, most people feel very little discomfort from the use of this method for removal of hairs.  With most modern methods, the most discomfort persons undergoing the process feel is a mere tingle.  If the process starts to cause pain for the patient, the technician may use a topical anesthetic to prevent more discomfort.

Myth#2:  Permanent Removal can be Accomplished with Electric Tweezers. Electric tweezers and other similar methods have never been recognized by the AMA or the FDA as a permanent method of removing hair from the human body.  Some states have banned users of devices such as the electric tweezers from advertizing the method as providing permanent removal of hair.  The only approved methods by both the FDA and AMA for permanent removal is the method.

Myth #3:  Temporary removal is better than this method.The temporary use of chemicals for removal can cause problems in some people.  It is possible to develop an allergy to the chemicals these products contain.  If the products are left on too long they can cause burns.  The use of the hair removal products can be time consuming and messy.  Bleaches also contain chemicals that are harsh and often ineffective at disguising dark hair.  They may also bleach the skin.  Waxing is often costly and painful.  Home kits for waxing can be messy and difficult to use.  This process requires pulling out of the unwanted hair.

Myth #4  I can use a kit to do effective electrolysis at home.Most home kits are not powerful enough to accomplish what the kits in the electrolysis office is able to do.  If the kit were powerful enough to accomplish the task, it would require a trained technician to operate it.In contrast to these myths, now consider the following facts about effective use of electrolysis for removal.

Fact #2 Electrolysis causes no permanent side effect.  Immediately after or during treatment, the skin may turn slightly red.  This redness will fade quickly.  Unlike the chemical methods of removal, there are no harsh chemicals used when applying electrolysis to the body.

What are the Benefits of Laser Hair Removal

-You must avoid electrolysis, plucking or waxing hair for 6 weeks prior to treatment.

-If you have had a history of herpes simplex, prophylactic antiviral therapy may be prescribed.

-You should discuss your desired results and the improvements you expect to achieve with your practitioner. Together you can decide if your expectations will be met and if this laser treatment is the best option.

HOW MANY TREATMENTS WILL I NEED?
Hair grows in cycles. The number of treatments required depends upon your skin color and coarseness of the hair. Everyone will require at least 4 treatments as the process is most effective on hair during the early growing cycle. Repeat laser hair removal will be necessary to treat these follicles when they re-enter the early growth phase.

Does NO!NO! Hair Removal Work? Here’s My Review

Hi Friends, its Tiffany again and today I’m going to review the no!no! hair removal treatment.

I have to say that I’ve looked around for years for a good, affordable  way to get rid of extra hair. Laser hair removal is so darn expensive. I’ve tried those creams, waxes and that nasty spinning spring thing that RIPS hair from your skin (ouch!). So when I saw no!no! in a few of those woman’s magazines I was like, “Yeah, right, that can’t possibly work.” Well one day I’m at the salon getting that little mustache women my age get waxed (my hubby thinks it’s funny) when my friend Rachel who was getting her nails done says she bought a no!no! and loves it.

So I got on my computer and started looking around and all these ladies are saying it’s the best and it’s easy and not messy at all. I read all the good things the dermatologists were saying about it and that got me more curious so when I found out about that 60 day free trial I figured it was worth a try. Being able to return it sure beats tossing it in the trash after shelling out money if it didn’t work.

A couple days later,  it arrived. I was looking at that tiny thing thinking it’s not going to work, but I’ll give it a go anyway since I had nothing to lose. Once it does kick in however, the results are terrific and you’ll really start to see a big difference. I’m about 10 weeks in and I’m seeing  an 85% reduction of hair growth in the areas I’m treating. What little hair that does regrow is very light and fine like peach fuzz. I only have to use it about once a month now.

Remember that you should only use the NO NO 2-3 times a week to start out, definitely no more than that. After about 2 months you can cut back to once a week and then just use as needed.
